Welcome back: Jingyi Wang joins WZR as Senior Associate

We are pleased to welcome Jingyi Wang back to the WZR team as a Senior Associate, effective 24 November 2025. From 2019 to 2021, Ms. Wang worked at WZR China, where she contributed in particular to the development of the firm’s legal automation tools and data protection services.

During her time away from WZR, Ms. Wang pursued further academic and professional growth in the United States. She completed an LL.M. in Law and Technology at the University of California, Berkeley, passed the New York Bar Exam in 2024, and earned Information Privacy Professional certifications for both the United States (CIPP/US) and Europe (CIPP/E). She also expanded her international experience through an internship with the United Nations Secretariat’s Office of Legal Affairs, working on global data protection, contractual matters, and arbitration cases.

By returning to WZR, Ms. Wang will apply her skills to data protection projects and to the continued development of WZR’s legal AI tools. We are delighted to welcome her back and look forward to her ongoing contributions.
