Wang Jingyi

Ms. Wang's expertise focuses on Chinese corporate law, contract law, data protection, and legal technology and artificial intelligence (AI).

She received her bachelor’s degree in law from the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), followed by LL.M. degrees from Humboldt University in Berlin and from the University of California, Berkeley. She was admitted to the Chinese bar in 2014 and the New York bar in 2024. She also holds certifications as an Information Privacy Professional for both the United States (CIPP/US) and Europe (CIPP/E).

Ms. Wang's former professional background includes roles as a project manager at the legal and investment department of the German Chamber of Commerce (AHK) and as a legal intern at the Office of Legal Affairs at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

At WZR, Ms. Wang focuses on advising clients in connection with foreign direct investment (FDI) and outbound direct investment (ODI) projects, on a broad range of contractual matters, as well as on matters of data protection and cybersecurity. In addition, she actively contributes to the ongoing development of the firm’s legal AI tools.
